Bringing IC to a City Near You

  • "It's a great tribute to who we are, and where we came from."
  • "It made me so proud to be an Ithacan!"
  • "I've never been to an IC event before, but if they're all like this, count me in!"
  • "Now I understand what my daughter means when she tells me how special Ithaca really is."

The comments above are just a sample of the reaction from hundreds of alumni, parents and friends who attended an Ithaca College film premiere this fall. Ithacans in Ithaca, Connecticut, Manhattan, Philadelphia, and New Jersey joined president Peggy R. Williams for a screening of the new film A World of Difference: Five Stories from South Hill. Produced entirely by College alumni, faculty, and students, the film provides a window into today's Ithaca College through the experiences of four students and an alumnus. President Williams explains, "There are so many reasons to be proud of the College, and we feel that this is the best way to tell our story. The reaction has been overwhelming."

Events are planned in a number of additional cities this spring including Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Minneapolis. For a preview of the film and to register for the event in your area, visit
