The IT hiring process moves very quickly. We will communicate all hiring information through your Ithaca College email, so be sure to check it frequently. 1. Apply to your first choice position online through the IC HR Recruiting Cloud

• We currently anticipate job openings in the following positions: 

• Please be prepared to upload a resume and cover letter that highlights your skills, work, volunteer, and extracurricular experiences
  • Please label the files as "Your Name_Resume" and "Your Name_Cover Letter"
  • Preferred file format: PDF

2. Fill out our IT online supplemental questionnaire

• Please be prepared to list at least one professional reference
• Ithaca College faculty and staff members are preferred but not required. You may use a non-IC professional reference if you feel they can better speak to your skills and experiences
• Current IC students and IT @ IC student employees are not eligible to be references

Please be sure to submit your complete application materials by that time.

First Round Interviews

• Applicants will be notified via email whether or not they have been selected for an interview 
• If selected, please schedule your interview through our online Bookings portal
• Interviews last approximately 30 minutes and will be held with a Student Manager or Student Coordinator Assistant via Microsoft Teams
• First round interviews will be conducted 

Second round Interviews

• Applicants will be notified via email whether or not they have been selected for a second round interview 
  • You may be selected to interview with two full-time area supervisors, but will only be offered one position within IT
• If selected, please schedule your interview(s) through our online Bookings portal
• Interviews last approximately 30 minutes and will be conducted by our full-time IT Area Supervisors via Microsoft Teams
• Second round interviews will be conducted 

• We will contact all references
  • Please use an IC faculty or staff member if possible, or a previous employer or mentor
  • It is best practice to ask the person if they are willing to serve as a reference before listing them on your application
  • Current IC students and IT @ IC student employees are not eligible to be references
• Will notify students application status 

• Hired applicants are required to attend mandatory training prior to the start of the semester. Training dates are subject to change, but typically training begins the Wednesday before the semester begins in August, and the Wednesday before the semester begins in January

• Sign up for an NSEP session if you have not had a job on campus before.
• You can only attend an NSEP session once you are offered a job.
• You must attend an NSEP session prior to IT New Hire training.
