Announcing Alice Meilman\'s Upcoming Retirement From CAPS

By webteam, June 22, 2021

It is with mixed feelings that we write to share that Alice Meilman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and CAPS counselor, has decided to retire from Ithaca College after over 20 years of dedicated service to the institution.

Throughout her time at IC, Alice provided counseling to countless students as they navigated various life events and mental health challenges, as well as supported the campus through involvement in campus committees and educational outreach events on mental health. In recent years, Alice graciously stepped into the leadership role of Interim Co-Director of CAPS, allowing CAPS to continue to provide quality services to students during a time of transition in the department. During her time at IC, Alice has been known for her optimism, compassion, consummate work ethic, and deep care for the IC community. She has left an indelible mark on the department of Counseling Health and Wellness, and on IC students. We wish Alice joy and adventure in this next chapter.
