Assistant Professor, Praneeta Mudaliar of ENVS, and students Keeley Firinne and Hallie Boykins present at Urban Climate Justice Workshop and co-author essay on intergenerational climate justice

Assistant Professor, Praneeta Mudaliar and IC students, Keeley Firinee, Sociology and Hallie Boykins, ENVS were invited to present their research on intergenerational climate justice at the International Workshop on Urban Climate Justice (June 28-30), supported by the American Political Science Association. Their essay on how youth and children navigate adult spaces for pursuing climate justice will be included in a book edited by Gustavo García-López (University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras), Prakash Kashwan (University of Connecticut), and Lauren MacLean (Indiana University). The workshop aims to build and expand the Climate Justice Network, engage in public-facing scholarship, and will create pedagogical materials on climate justice for children, college students, community-organizers, and activists.
