Assistant Professor Mitch McCabe's film "Civil War Surveillance Poems- Part 1" will screen in the Detroit Free Press' Freep Film Festival, the director's home state. For the first time since March 2020, it will screen in a physical theater, playing Saturday, September 25 at 3:30 and Sunday, September 26 at 12:30, at the Emagine Birmingham 8. It will also screen online from September 22-29.
