Ithaca College's Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) is hosting the annual t-shirt design contest for the Cortaca Jug football game. Any current Ithaca College student is eligible to enter the contest! In addition to having the design printed on the official IC Cortaca 2021 t-shirt, the winning designer will receive a gift card. The first and second runners-up will get a prize and their designs will be made into stickers.
Submit a blue design in vector format that will be used on the front of a white t-shirt. Designs must be no larger than 14” wide x 15” high. You may incorporate one of the athletics logos –
students can download all the athletics logos as a .jpeg directly by going to the IC digital media portals page here: https://www.ithaca.edu/digital-media-portals. Then, click on the first portal link: Brand Assets and Templates, choose the Brand Assets logo thumbnail on the right and choose the IC Athletics Primary Zip file. Designers are strongly encouraged to download and review the college's identity standards at https://brand-standards.ithaca.edu/hub/140709 where you can find logo usage guidelines, brand colors, prints fonts, and other resources before beginning your work. Designers are also encouraged to review Cortaca licensing requirements at https://wwwcdn.ithaca.edu/file-download/download/public/1674. Designs must reflect a professional look that conveys the excellence, pride, and tradition of the Ithaca College community and the rich history of the Cortaca Jug game.
STAT will be tabling in front of Emerson Suites on the second floor of Campus Center during the week of October 25th to gain the votes of our Ithaca College peers. Submissions will be displayed for all to see. Every student will get a raffle ticket to put in the jar that corresponds to their favorite design. The design with the most raffle ticket votes will be on the t-shirt and the designs of the two runners-up will be printed as stickers. The raffle ticket of one person who voted for the t-shirt winning design will be randomly selected and that person will win a gift card.
All design submissions are due by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24th, 2021. Please email your design, along with your name and student ID number, to ithacastat@ithaca.edu. Direct any questions to STAT at ithacastat@ithaca.edu.
