Application Period Opens Soon! (December 6-16) Financial Support Available for Students Needing Help to Buy Course Materials

As we reach the conclusion of the Fall 2021 semester, the Student Emergency Relief Fund (SERF) is ready to open its application period to apply for course material financial support for the Spring 2022 semester. Students who need financial support in order to be able to purchase their required course materials can apply for up to a maximum amount of $200 of aid. This support comes in the form of course material vouchers that can only be used to purchase textbooks and other required materials via our preferred provider, Akademos.

The SERF committee will be opening its application period for course material vouchers for the Spring 2022 semester on Monday, December 6. The application link will remain live from Monday, December 6, until Thurday, December 16.

The SERF committee will begin reviewing applications on Friday, December 17, with priority given to students who have not already been awarded vouchers for the 2021-22 academic year. Remaining funding will be awarded to students on a first-come first-served basis. The financial need of each individual applicant will also be factored into the review process.
