Stop & Breathe at the Library before Finals - event updates 12/8/21

UPDATE 12/8/21 Due to the campus-wide COVID-19 Yellow Alert Status, we've cancelled our library de-stress events. We're still open for the extended hours as scheduled, but our button-making and study break with Interim President Cornish are cancelled. Stay healthy!

The IC Library is committed to creating a supportive atmosphere to help our students cope with the stress of preparing for final exams and is offering multiple opportunities for relieving this stress. We are proud to offer these programs during the JED Coalition's Stop and Breathe Week from December 3rd-9th

Consider attending the following events:

  • COOKIES! Friday, December 3rd:  12 pm Stop by the Library Cafe for cookies courtesy of Dining Services. First come, first serve.
  • BUTTON MAKING! Wednesday, December 8th:  3-5 pm.   Look for the big Conference Table near the Library Cafe.  We'll have the supplies (buttons, button maker, book covers, magazines), bring your imagination.  CANCELLED
  • STUDY BREAK WITH INTERIM PRES. CORNISH! Thursday, December 9th, 4:30-6 pm in the Cafe area.  Light refreshments will be served. CANCELLED
  • COLORING!  Starting Friday, December 3rd, we'll have pages that you can color on top of the New Books table as you enter the Library. Bring your own pencils or check them out from the Circulation Desk.  STILL AVAILABLE!

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Cathy Michael at cmichael@ithaca.edu or 607-274-1293. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
