Send some holiday love to our LGBTQ community members behind bars this season on Friday Dec 10 and Monday Dec 13 from 12 noon 2 pm in the LGBT Center. As part of our 20th anniversary year we're joining with Black and Pink's Holiday Campaign to support incarcerated LGBTQ people in the present tense.
We'll provide cookies, coffee, tea and hot chocolate -- and everything you'll need to write these holiday cards. All you need is to bring your kindness and time. The holidays can be a difficult time for LGBTQ people who are incarcerated. Together we can shed the light of community in the dark corners of institutions across the country. Write a card of care to spread love in the present.
