What is Leadership Weekend?
The Leadership Weekend Retreat is a program designed by the Office of Student Engagement and the Office of New Student and Transition Programs for all first-year* students at IC. Together, our offices encourage emerging leaders to discuss their personal thoughts on leadership, connect with like-minded students, and further their involvement at the college. In addition, Leadership Weekend gives students a chance to enhance their collegiate experiences by building on their strengths and becoming a positive change agent on campus and beyond.
*Note: Leadership Weekend 2022 is open to second-year students as well due to the retreat being canceled in 2021.
The power of encouraging students to engage in meaningful experiences goes a long way and contributes to a successful journey.
