2022 Keynote Speaker: Nicole LaFave

Our 2022 keynote speaker is Nicole LaFave ‘07, Assistant Director of Diversity Alumni Programs at Cornell University! Nicole will speak about grassroots social justice organizing in Ithaca. LaFave, a co-founding member of Black Lives Matter Ithaca, just completed a run for a Tompkins County legislature seat in 2021 where social justice was a cornerstone of her campaign.  In addition to this work, she also is a member of the board of education for the Ithaca School District and has served for almost six years. She has extensive experience working in the Ithaca community uplifting marginalized voices and experiences.
