Patricia Zimmermann Facilitates Two Working Sessions on New Media and the Environment at Visible Evidence Conference in Frankfurt, Germany

Patricia Zimmermann, Charles A. Dana Professor of Screen Studies and Director of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival, facilitated two interactive working sessions on new media and the environment at the annual Visible Evidence Conference on Documentary held in December 2021 in Frankfurt Germany both virtually and in person.

Zimmermann facilitated an interactive dialogue and working with participants in a session entitled “Anthropo/scene Visualities:  Human and More-than-Human Representational Regimes” with theorist Alisa Lebow on December 15, 2021 on Zoom.

She also facilitated an interactive dialogue and working session with participants in a session entitled “The Politics of Augmented Places: Hyperlocal Landscapes in Emergent Forms of Documentary,” featuring new media artists Liz Miller, Dorit Naaman, and Topiary Landberg on Zoom.
