The Office of Student Engagement will be sponsoring the 10th annual Women Leaders Series (WLS) from March 1-31, and we are seeking individuals, departments, and organizations to collaborate with for this event. The WLS is a set of presentations, performances, or programs for students to attend, all focused on the topic of women and leadership. The theme for 2022 is What's Your Perspective?
Would you be interested in presenting a 45–60-minute workshop on any topic related to women and leadership? Or do you already have a program planned for March that might be a good fit in this series and we could collaborate? You can check out what was done for the 2021 Women Leaders Series or this list of topics that students have specifically requested, if you need some inspiration:
- Toxic Female friendships
- What it means to be a woman
- Reframing headlines portraying women in the media
- The different waves of feminism
- How to be an effective ally
- Medical self-advocacy for women
- Imposter syndrome in the workplace / in general
Submit your proposal for the 2022 Women Leaders Series on IC Engage. The proposal form is open to all staff, faculty, alumni, and student leaders at Ithaca College, and the deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, January 28.
