Two winners of the 2022 Ithaca College School of Music Concerto Competition will be featured in Thursday's concert with the Symphony Orchestra. Andrew Becker, piano, student of Vadim Serebryany, will play Moritz Moszkowski's Piano Concerto No. 2 in E Major, and Patrick Roche, marimba, student of Michael Truesdell, will perform Prism Rhapsody by Keiko Abe. The annual Concerto Competition was held in February, and 3 winners were chosen. (Timothy Coene, alto saxophone, student of Steven Banks, performed Joel Love's Solace, A Lyric Concerto with the Wind Ensemble on Sunday, May 1) In Thursday's concert, the orchestra will also play works by Glinka and Ravel, and Interim Dean Ivy Walz will present the Music Student Honors Recognition Ceremony.

This concert will also be livestreamed here, and made available a few days later for on-demand viewing.

All concerts and events are free and open to the public.

At this time, the public is welcome to campus. We request that masks are worn in our concert halls.
