The excitement continues to build for the playing of the 2022 Cortaca Jug football game at Yankee Stadium in November. To highlight what is sure to be a historic day in the Bronx this fall, Yankee Stadium is hosting Cortaca Jug Day on Thursday, July 28, when the Bronx Bombers take on the Kansas City Royals at 7:10 p.m.
Ranging from $45 to $85, tickets for this special Cortaca Jug promotion are on sale here. The first 1,000 fans who purchase tickets through that link will receive an exclusive New York Yankees hat co-branded with the Ithaca College Athletics logo. This special event ticket includes a hot dog and beverage.
Fans can purchase up to eight individual seats. All tickets will be delivered digitally, and mobile presentation will be the sole method of entry. All sales are final. To get pumped up for the baseball game, in true Bombers spirit, Ithaca College has organized a pre-game at nearby Stan’s Sports Bar, located at 836 River Avenue. The IC pre-game will begin two hours before the first pitch and fans can register here. A cash bar and a free swag item will be included with registration.
“Cortaca Jug Day at Yankee Stadium is a great opportunity to experience the most iconic venue in the world of sports ahead of IC in the City: Reunion and Cortaca ’22 this November,” said Wendy Kobler, vice president for philanthropy and engagement. “We hope to see all our Bomber faithful in New York in July and again from November 10 to 13.”
