Board of Trustees Recognizes Faculty with Promotions and Tenure

Congratulations to the members of the faculty who have been recognized by the Ithaca College Board of Trustees. At its May meetings, the board granted promotions to 11 faculty members and awarded tenure to one.

The following were promoted from associate professor to professor:

School of Humanities and Sciences
Department of Environmental Sciences and Studies

Jake Brenner, who earned his B.A. from Lawrence University and M.A. and Ph.D. from Clark University.

Department of Mathematics
Emilie Wiesner, who earned her B.A. and B.S. from Washington and Lee University and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison

Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures
Annette Levine, who earned her B.A. from SUNY Oswego, M.A. from the University of Chicago, and Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Department of Writing
Catherine Taylor, who earned her B.A. from Cornell University and Ph.D. from Duke University.

Jack Wang, who earned his B.S. from the University of Toronto, M.F.A. from the University of Arizona, and Ph.D. from Florida State University.

Dennis Charsky, who earned his B.A. from Ithaca College, M.S. from Binghamton University, and Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado.

Amie Germain, who earned her B.S. from Pennsylvania State University, M.O.T. from Chatham College, and Ed.D. from Gwynedd Mercy University.
