Ithaca College School of Business leads discussions at CCI

Ed Catto, an instructor at Ithaca College’s School of Business, will be speaking at CCI this July at four separate panels.

Catto will moderate the Academia vs. Fandom panel on Saturday, July 23rd, leading a discussion of professors from different colleges including Columbia University, Syracuse University and University of Oregon.  This is part of an ongoing, continuing series of high-profile discussions that Catto has led during the pandemic.

Catto will also moderate the Captain Action Panel, focusing on this entrepreneurial effort and especially this summer’s publication of Captain Action: The Classic Collection.  “This particular project was supposed to take 3 months to pull together, and it’s taken 14 years! I like to teach my entrepreneurial students about grit and perseverance, but even I realize this is a bit much”, joked Catto.

Public Relations and Licensing are two important tactics for every entrepreneur, and Catto will serve as a panelist on two panels exploring best practices for these topics.

“It’s always a thrill to be invited to contribute to CCI”, said Catto.

CCI will be held live (for the first time in two years) from July 21 to July 24 at the San Diego Convention Center.
