Words cannot capture the role Lisa has played in the transformation of the admission profession and her role to lead many changes in our initiatives at IC. Students and families are always grateful for Lisa’s energy, optimism, and professionalism. Some of this is best demonstrated by the smallest sampling of feedback:

  • “Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with Carley. I have never seen her face light up as it did when she talked about her call with you. She is really looking forward to finishing her application and hearing back from the admissions office. Thank you for sharing such an upbeat and positive discussion with her. In a world of virtual learning and communication, it is wonderful to find people who can really make a teenager feel connected and important.”
  • “You were so helpful to me during the process that I could not be any more grateful for your assistance. You really were so incredibly helpful that I can't really put it into words. You were able to provide me with tons of information that greatly altered my college decision, and my perception of my path forward. So once again, although I did a mediocre job articulating it, I wish to reiterate it once more, Thank you so much!”
  • “I visited Ithaca College on June 13th and absolutely loved it! You started my day off with an exciting and energetic admissions talk about the school. I enjoyed your enthusiasm and continued to feel that excitement from other staff members and students alike.”
  • “Thanks so much for your warm welcome to IC last Friday. My husband Greg and I thoroughly enjoyed your personable and comprehensive presentation, and immediately felt as though we could be very happy with Izzy in such a vibrant and friendly environment.”
  • “I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for the very inspiring presentation and speech you provided at this past weekend’s overview of Ithaca College. I could really see myself at Ithaca and part of the vibrant campus community my freshman year.”
  • “Thank you so much again, I loved meeting you!”
  • “You made me feel very welcomed and provided me with thorough information about Ithaca College. Ithaca College is absolutely astonishing and so are the people there.”

We will ALL miss Lisa and I am confident that she will remain connected through our professional organization, lasting friendships, and community connections.

Please join me in personally thanking Lisa for all her contributions to the college and the profession. I am excited to see how her star continues to rise at Wells College and we are wishing her the best as she begins this new role.
