Assistant professor of journalism Allison Frisch and Dr. Gina Gayle of Emerson College won first place in the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors (ISWNE) call for papers on “Strengthening Community Journalism." They presented the paper, which focused on funding college/community news partnerships, to researchers and editors in July 2022 at the ISWNE conference in Lexington Kentucky.
