JED Campus Initiative's Stop and Breathe Week is December 1st to the 7th

Stop and Breathe Week programs are kicking off 

Consider attending one of these program to catch your breath before finals and help you to enjoy your day!

Unable to attend any programs in person? No problem. Check out our virtual hub of online wellness resources that include live animal cams, videos for visual relaxation, and creative virtual art activities.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1 & 2

Stop and breathe week event December 1

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1ST
Event: Self-Care Jeopardy

Sponsor: Center for Health Promotion
About: During a Jeopardy-style game about self-care, you will work with other students to test your knowledge of self-care and wellness topics, including sleep, stress, physical activity, and time management.
Location:  Taughannock Falls Room, 3 pm to 4 pm
Who can attend?  Students, This program is part of SLI, please register for credit.

Stop & Breathe Week December 2

FRIDAY DECEMBER 2ND
Event: Guided Meditation 

Sponsor: Mindful IC 
About:  No experience is necessary;  guidance is always offered. After the meditation ends at 12:30, there will be the opportunity for discussion until 12:45 PM.
Location: Muller Chapel,  12 pm to 12:30 pm
Who can attend?  Open to all  

Event:  First Friday with IDEAS: Relaxation Station 
Sponsor: Center for IDEAS
About:  Join the Center for IDEAS at the December First Friday with IDEAS for free chair massages, affirmations table, coloring, board games, hot cocoa and snacks.

Event:  PJs and Pancakes
Sponsor: IC After Dark
About: Join IC After Dark for a PJ Party, Pancake Bar, activities like mug decorating and snowflake making, as well as a Hot Chocolate Bar!
Location & Time: IC Square, 8 pm to 11 pm 
Who can attend:  Students,  register in Engage
