Amanda Faherty (Psychology) named American Psychological Association Co-Chair

Amanda Faherty (Assistant Professor of Psychology, has been selected as a Divisional Program Co-chair for American Psychological Association’s 2023 convention.

Amanda will coordinate convention programming for the Division on General Psychology. Amanda’s responsibilities as co-chair include publicizing the call for proposals, reviewing poster and program submissions to the division, communicating and collaborating with other program chairs, developing, scheduling, and submitting the final division convention program to APA, and coordinating and planning the annual conference details including events and logistics.  

The conference will take place in Washington, DC in August 2023. APA is the largest psychological organization in the world, and the convention attracts attendees internationally.
