It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of Jim MacNeil's passing. A deeply valued colleague, teacher, and friend, Jim worked at Ithaca College for 38 years (1970-2008) as the instrument specialist in the Chemistry Department.
Jim will be remembered first and foremost for his genuine kindness and comradery with students and faculty at Ithaca College, as well as for his exceptional technical work and problem-solving skills in science. Many will also remember Jim from lunchtime pick-up basketball games or college golf outings over the years.
