Midterm Grading:
Will be available in HomerConnect beginning, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, for full term classes (Please note: midterm grading is not available for block courses).
Midterm grades are due by 10:00pm, Wednesday, March 22.
Block I Grading:
Will be available in HomerConnect beginning, Wednesday March 1, 2023.
The Incomplete grade form for Block I grades will be available in IC Workflow beginning 8:00am Wednesday, March 1, 2023, until 5:00 pm, Friday, March 17, 2023.
(Reminder, a grade of incomplete is not an option in HomerConnect). To award a grade of Incomplete, leave the grade blank in HomerConnect, and use the request form titled Incomplete Grade Request in IC workflow.
This is an opportunity to prepare for easy final grading by ensuring that:
- You can access HomerConnect;
- Are all the students attending your class on your class roster?
- Are all the students on your class roster attending your class?
- If you are teaching PALS, confirm your students are participating in the appropriate sport.

Midterm Grades: Required
“It is College policy that by the midpoint of each semester all students be evaluated in each course in which they have enrolled. The method of evaluation is to be determined by each faculty member. This assessment is reflected in a midterm grade submitted to the Office of the Registrar in accordance with the schedule published by that office. The only exception to this policy is in those block courses that conclude in half a semester.
Deans and directors deal with this policy as it relates to the individual faculty members and courses within their school.”
