To continue the campus' celebration of Latino Heritage Month, the Office of Multicultural Affairs presents "An International Learning Experience," a student panel discussion, this Thursday, October 2, in Klingenstein Lounge, 7:00-8:30 p.m., followed by Andean folkloric music from 8:30-10:00 p.m. in Emerson A.

Students will share their experiences of traveling to the Dominican Republic with various professors including Hector Velez-Guadelupe, Judith Pena-Shaff, Mary Ann Erickson and Carole Dennis.

The discussion will be followed by a reception in Emerson A starting at 8:30 p.m. that will feature the Andean folkloric band, Tambo Andino. Pastries and desserts will be provided by La Cocina Latina.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Sue Van De Voorde, Office of Multicultural Affairs, at 274-3654.
