Stephen Tropiano, director of the Ithaca College Los Angeles program, will be participating on a panel titled "The History of Gay and Lesbian Images on Television" at the Museum of Television and Radio in Los Angeles.

The panel discussion, which will be sent via satellite to universities and colleges across the country, also includes actor Jennifer Beals (The L Word), Ilene Chaiken (creator/executive producer of The L Word); actor Wilson Cruz (My So-Called Life) and Winnie Holzman (creator/coexecutive producer of My So-Called Life); and writer/producers Ron Cowen and Daniel Lipman (Queer as Folk).

Tropiano is the author of The Prime Time Closet: A History of Gays and Lesbians on Television (Applause Books).
