Michael Twomey, professor of English, has been awarded the James Randall Leader Prize for the Outstanding Essay in Arthuriana.

Twomey's "The Voice of Aurality in the Morte Darthur" appeared in Arthuriana 13.4.2003. The prize, awarded annually, is a gift to Arthuriana in commemoration of James Randall Leader "whose charismatic spirit, like that of King Arthur, guides us as we move 'from the great deep to the great deep.'"
