Summer policies are currently in effect at the Fitness Center and the indoor and outdoor pools.

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center will be open through Friday, August 13, during the hours of 7:00 am-7:00 pm Monday-Friday and noon-4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. During Alumni Weekend (June 5-6), the Fitness Center will be open from 7:00 am-4:00 pm. It will be closed on the Memorial Day and Independence Day holidays.

The Fitness Center is open to spouses, qualified domestic partners, and dependents 16 years of age or older , provided the following has been completed:

  1. Spouses, qualified domestic partners and dependents are required to go to the ID office, located in the east balcony of the Terrace Dining Hall, and get a Fitness Center/outdoor pool identification card. A form of picture identification is required. Dependents 16 years old without any form of picture ID, must bring in some type of ID, (i.e. birth certificate, driver's permit, or social security card). The summer ID office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-4:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Please call the ID office at 274-3007 to confirm that someone will be there.

  2. There is no charge for the initial Fitness Center/outdoor pool card or the use of the facility. Previously issued cards should continue to be used as long as the employee is still benefits eligible. If you lose your initial card there is a $10 replacement charge paid at the ID office.

  3. Starting Monday, May 17, through Friday, August 13, faculty, staff, and their eligible dependents may bring a guest and purchase a day pass at the Fitness Center for $5.00. The guest must be at least 16 years old to use the Fitness Center. The guest cannot use the Fitness Center without the sponsor present in the facility. Payment must be made in cash or check, made payable to Ithaca College. No credit cards or ID Express will be accepted at the Fitness Center or the pools.

Outdoor and Indoor Pools

Dependents 16 years of age or older, spouses, or qualified domestic partners may use the indoor or outdoor pool by presenting a Fitness Center/outdoor pool card or an outdoor pool card. A membership form must be completed by the Ithaca College employee before a pool card will be issued to the spouse or qualified domestic partner and each dependent. The membership form can be printed from the recreational sports website or completed at the outdoor pool.

The outdoor pool opens on Saturday, May 29, weather permitting, and closes Monday, September 6. The hours are Monday-Friday, noon-7:00 pm, Saturday noon-6:00 pm, Sunday 1:00-7:00 pm. The outdoor pool guest pass is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children under 16 years old.
