The Friends of Ithaca College, together with Baker Travel, is holding its 13th annual Founder's Day Concert on Sunday, September 19, at 2:00 p.m. in DeWitt Park, Ithaca.

The Ithaca College Wind Ensemble, conducted by Stephen Peterson will perform a program entitled "A Musical Slice of Americana." The program will feature selections from Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, and John Philip Sousa among others.

The concert is free and open to the public. So bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a fall afternoon in DeWitt Park, the Ithaca Conservatory's original "quad," with your family and friends. The rain location is Ford Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music on the Ithaca College campus.
