If you are a student who is graduating or permanently leaving the college for other reasons this semester, most of your IC computing accounts will expire shortly after you graduate (or leave).

Here’s what you can expect:

Email, Novell (Nova), WWW (Web) and WebCT accounts will expire approximately 90 days after the end of the semester, on or around March 15th, 2006.

WebCT course access may end sooner if your instructor un-enrolls you from a course.

To ensure that none of your important files are lost, make sure you do the following before March 15th:

• Forward any messages in your IC email account to another email account.
• Copy your website files to your computer hard drive, to a CD, or upload them to a different Web server account.
• Copy your Nova files to your computer hard drive or to a CD.

If you don’t need to keep any information from your IC accounts, then no action is required; any data in your accounts will be deleted when the accounts are removed from the system.

Graduating students may want to visit to register for the alumni online community. Once registered you can keep your address information updated, get free e-mail forwarding, add class notes, search the online directory and more.
