Vivian Bruce Conger, Department of History, was among 23 international scholars invited to participate in a colloquium entitled "Homes and Homecomings," sponsored by the journal Gender and History.

The three-day event was held at the University of Nottingham School of History, Nottingham, England. Conger presented her paper, "'There Is Graite Odds Between A Mans Being at Home and A Broad': Deborah Franklin and the Construction of the Eighteenth-century Home."
