This is a reminder that if you are involved with student organizations, are a leader on campus, and currently have a GPA at or above 2.75, then you might be interested in applying for the Margaret D. Reid or Student Government Association Scholarships!

The Ithaca College Student Government Association is now accepting applications for two scholarships to be awarded for the 2012-2013 academic year.  Current sophomores and juniors (60 completed credits by Fall 2011) are encouraged to apply for the Student Government Association and Margaret D. Reid Scholarships.  During the week following Spring Break, those eligible will have received an email with more information regarding the application process.  If you have been notified, all application materials are due by 10:00 AM on Monday, April 2, 2012.  Application materials for either scholarship must include a personal resume, 250-word essay, and two letters of recommendation.

To be eligible for the Margaret D. Reid Memorial Scholarship a student must demonstrate student leadership and/or active involvement in campus life, have a grade point average of between 2.75 and 3.599 as of March 10, 2012, be a rising Junior or Senior as defined academically - anticipating at least 60 credits beginning Monday August 27, 2012 (Convocation of the 2012- 2013 academic year) - and not graduating in May 2012, and have good judicial standing as determined by the Office of Residential Life and Judicial Affairs.

To be eligible for the Student Government Association Scholarship a student must demonstrate student leadership and/or active involvement in campus life, have a grade point average of 3.6 or above as of March 10, 2012, be a rising Junior or Senior as defined academically - anticipating at least 60 credits beginning Monday August 27, 2012 (Convocation of the 2012-2013 academic year) - and not graduating in May 2012, and have good judicial standing as determined by the Office of Residential Life and Judicial Affairs.

All scholarships will be awarded according to need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Services.
