Tompkins County Legislature Vice-Chair and Congressional Candidate in New York's 23rd District will present at Ithaca College Democrats Campaign School on March 26th at 7 PM in the Ithaca falls room.

Congressional candidate Nate Shinagawa (D) will visit Ithaca College on Monday,
March 26 at 7pm in the Ithaca Falls Room to speak to IC students about telling your
story to fight for progressive values, public speaking and persuasion, and democracy
in action.

As a local Ithacan, Shinagawa has served on the Tompkins County Legislature for
many years, as well as working with committees in order to promote progressive
values, including acting as an issue leader in healthcare, economic development, and
environmental issues.

IC Democrats will be hosting Shinagawa in order to promote dialogue on the tricky
subject of politics, as well as teaching IC students to be persuasive and effective
when speaking politically.
