On Saturday May 5, 2012 Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Skott Freedman, presented “Language Development 0-5: What’s Typical, What Isn’t, and What Can We Do?” as part of a workshop highlighting early language development at the FoxCare Center in Oneonta, New York.

This workshop was designed to introduce parents, caregivers, and early childhood educators to typical language development during the first five years of life.

In addition, participants learned some language facilitation strategies that can be used to foster language development.
