Do you feel like you are in an eating rut? Believe it or not, healthy living and eating can become easier!

Try these simple tips to get started:

  • Make half your plate at each meal vegetables
  • Snacking is important, but limit mindless snacking
  • Listen to your body and eat when you are hungry
  • Do not drink your calories – cut out sugary beverages and limit alcohol

For more tips, check out our upcoming Lunch-and-Learn "Breaking Out of an Eating Rut" on July 24th from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the Peggy R. Williams Center, HR Conference Room GL052. Dr. Gary Sforzo from the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences will discuss the difficulties and barriers that lead many of us to poor eating habits. Please RSVPs to 4-8000 or  We need ten people registered to hold this event.
