Heart-to-Heart is intended to offer an opportunity to explore our lives as musicians beyond the limits of the classroom and practice room.

Sunday | November 3 | 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. | Presser Rehearsal Hall

The kinds of topics we'll engage include:

  • How we get where we're going as musicians
  • Career paths and life journeys
  • How to make all the pieces of life fit together
  • Bringing the many different facets of music together
  • Balancing personal and professional life,
  • Meeting our obligations to body, mind, and soul
  • And many more

We'll develop the topics for discussion together, as we meet several times throughout the year.

Join us for our second meeting on Sunday, November 3 from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in Presser Rehearsal Hall, in the Whalen Center for Music. Snacks will be provided! All first-year students, all questions, and all discussion topics are welcome.

Presented in partnership by the First-Year Experience and the School of Music.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the School of Music at 607-274-3717. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
