Engaging Communities - Registration is Now Open!

The Office of Human Resources is excited to open registration for our upcoming Engaging Communities event on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. 


Registration is required to attend this program. The registration for the following two events can be accessed by clicking here

  • Engaging Communities with Howard Ross (Main Presentation, 9am in Emerson Suites)
  • Dialog Session with Howard Ross (11:30am in Klingenstein Lounge)

About Our Presenter

Howard Ross is a lifelong social justice advocate, and is considered one of the world’s most influential thought leaders on identifying and addressing unconscious bias. Howard has specialized in the synthesis of neuro-cognitive and social science research and direct application regarding Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Accessibility work. He is the author of

  • ReInventing Diversity: Transforming Organizational Community to Strengthen People, Purpose and Performance (published by Rowman and Littlefield in conjunction with SHRM in 2011)
  • Everyday Bias:  Identifying and Navigating Unconscious Judgments in Our Daily Lives (published by Rowman and Littlefield in 2014)
  • Our Search for Belonging:  How Our Need to Connect is Tearing Us Apart (published by Berrett-Koehler in May of 2018)

Book Sale

Mr. Ross' books are currently available for purchase at the Campus Store and will also be available for purchase at the event.
