Lab Software Requests For Fall 2019

Contributed by Matthew Herbert on 05/21/19

It is time to consider the Specialty Software/Applications you and your colleagues will need for Fall 2019 in computing spaces. As you may know, over the summer, IT re-images and updates standard and specialty software on Ithaca College lab computers, and with that we install/update the specialty software needed in specific labs per request

In order to streamline and improve the process for requesting software for lab spaces, last year we introduced the Request form, linked to below. We would like to continue to leverage this request form and ask you to submit one request per software needed for the fall. I know this can be a bit cumbersome, but it allows for an opportunity to reflect on what was needed and utilized last year, and what will be needed for the coming year. The Deadline for requests to be guaranteed for the start of classes is June 15th.

Please follow the link below to the form to fill out your requests. The form can also be reached by going to Ithaca.teamdynamix.com going into the client portal, then searching for “software request” or “lab software.”

***Found on the landing page for the form is a list of software installed on all lab computers. These do not need to be requested in order to be included***
