The course includes learning about the histories of film festivals and how they operate, and then full immersion in the 23rd Annual Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival both on campus and downtown at Cinemapolis.

The festival features over 100 events and over 50 guests from around the globe, and spans film, video, installation, art, new media, music, concerts, silent film/live music, literary events, activists, scholarly presentations, workshops, labs, post-screening discussions, panels, forums.

This year's festival theme is INFILTRATIONS.

Students enrolled in this course are designated as FLEFF FESTIVAL FELLOWS, a role that can be noted on your resumes. The mini-course is also the gateway course to internships with the festival the next year as festival bloggers.

This course does not require an application and is open to all majors and years across the College.
