(The following message is being posted on behalf of Ernie McClatchie, Executive Director of Maintenance, Grounds & Transportation)

This is a reminder that in order to perform required maintenance on the campus electrical infrastructure, the Office of Facilities will be conducting its annual power shutdown on Saturday, May 30th, 2020.

Power will be turned off to the entire campus beginning at 6:00am on this day, and power will be restored in the evening hours when work has been completed.  The Circle Apartments are not affected by this power shutdown.

As always, staff from the Office of Facilities will be present on campus during the shutdown and on call after this interruption to ensure all systems resume to their normal functions.

In addition to the normal shutdown, Career Services, Muller Faculty Center, and Textor Hall will have a prolonged outage, which will begin on Thursday, May 28th.  Power to these areas will be restored on the evening of Saturday, May 30th in conjunction with the powering of the entire campus.

Please feel free to contact Ernie McClatchie, Executive Director of Maintenance, Grounds and Transportation, at (607-274-3235) or emcclatchie@ithaca.edu, if you have any questions or concerns.

We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause and appreciate your understanding as we take this opportunity to perform this very important work.
