Friday, June 19, 7.30 pm: BLACK WOMEN AND THE BALLOT
Saviana is honored to have her short play DON’T / DREAM (about an immigrant domestic worker) presented with two plays by four-time Emmy-nominated Judy Tate, as part of The American Slavery Project’s Juneteenth event, supported by Manhattan Theatre Club, EST, Civic Ensemble, etc. Tune in – it’s FREE. A donation to BLM organizations is strongly encouraged. Phylicia Rashad stars in Judy's play:

In honor of Immigrant Heritage Month, IASNY (Immigrant/International Artists and Scholars in New York) and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe present LIBERTY'S DAUGHTERS, an evening of Immigrant Women's Monologues written by members of Honor Roll! (women playwrights 40+) and IASNY writers. Hosted by Saviana.
