We know exactly what you're thinking! You're seeking additional opportunities to stare at your computer screen, hunched over your desk, amplifying your facial wrinkles, while chirping birds outside your window continue to perform rigorous daily activities that are so crucial to servicing ecosystem health. (Thank you birdies!) Well...you're in luck!
Staff Council's IC Spirit Month Week 4 is virtually all virtual! View artwork by colleagues on Digital Commons. Continue to share images or words about your outdoor activities on Facebook at: IC Spirit Month! Facebook page. Interested in submitting artwork? Not on Facebook but want to contribute? Ahem, did you say "more Zoom please?" Well, since you've asked so politely, some upcoming sessions include:
Monday, June 22: Stretch Break at 10 am – Join Virgilio zooming from his Kitchen/Living Room for a quick break with other IC colleagues.
Tuesday, June 23rd: Parent 2 Parent – Join Sarah and Sara at noon-1pm, to bond over parenting during this unusual time. Discuss issues you’re dealing with and/or share some successes or strategies.
Wednesday, June 24th: Happy Hump Day Tea 10:30-11:00 am. Share your favorite beverage, your remote work break spot, chat about teas, pop in to say “hi”.
Thursday, June 25th: Stump the Artist from 5-6 pm- Team up with other participants to describe a distinctive image to an artist who can't see the image being described. Participants will decide together what image they think will be most interesting, difficult, or funny to describe to the artist.
Friday, June 26th: Pet your Stress Away from 3-4pm – Celebrate Early Friday and kick off the weekend the right way, by seeing adorable pets! All pets and people are welcome, including dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, or even stuffed animals. Of course, those without pets of their own are also welcome to join in the fun!
