The Center for Faculty Excellence is pleased to host Ithaca College Community Artists each Friday at 5pm. In a mere 15-20 minutes, learn what our community brings to the arts, and the invariable ways art invigorates our lives. This week’s guest is Andy Watts.

Assistant Professor Andy Watts is a screenwriter and filmmaker who teaches cinema production within the Department of Media Arts, Sciences and Studies in the Park School of Communications. He has been teaching at Ithaca College in various capacities since 2010. Andy is currently developing a TV series based on a past short film he wrote and directed and is just beginning pre-production on a short film he plans to shoot this summer. He received his MFA in screenwriting from Columbia University and his BA in English from the University of Michigan.
