The event "Struggling for Justice: One Rabbi's Journey from South Africa to Israel/Palestine and America" features Rabbi Brian Walt on Thursday, March 7, 7 pm in Business 104. The Ithaca College Students for Justice in Palestine and the Philosophy and Religion Department are co-sponsors.

Rabbi Walt is the former executive director of Rabbis for Human Rights-North America and a Fellow for the Palestinian/Israeli Nonviolence Project of the Dorothy Cotton Institute in Ithaca.  Rabbi Walt was born in South Africa and participated in the anti-apartheid movement in his country as a teenager.  He recently helped to facilitate an interfaith, interracial delegation of Americans active with U.S. racial justice issues to Israel and the West Bank.  He will talk about the systems of injustice in South Africa, Israel/Palestine and America.  To read Rabbi Brian's blog, please see
