Visiting Assistant Professor in Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies, Arzu Karaduman presented her paper, "Ethics of Haunting in Crystal Time inOnce Upon a Time in Anatolia," at the Literature/Film Association Conference in New Orleans on December 1, 2018. By putting Derrida in a dialog with Deleuze, this paper offered haunting and originary mourning as the ethical operative modes in the crystal image of the female figure and her shadow in the tea-serving scene in Once Upon a Time in Anatolia.
