Please mark your calendars for our 29th annual Educational Technology Day at Ithaca College to be held on Thursday, March 21st from 9 am to 3 pm in the Campus Center.

Educational Technology Day was recently recognized by USA Today as one of the reasons why they named Ithaca as one of the most innovative cities in the nation.  This event highlights the latest technology trends impacting academia and the business sector, and includes over 60 national and regional technology vendors, vendor seminars, a college showcase, and a Teaching and Learning with Technology Symposium.  Featured sessions with national thought leaders will lead discussions on:

  • 3-D Laser Mapping
  • Enhancing lives through voice recognition technology
  • Women in Technology
  •  Immersive Technologies (AR/VR/360)
  • Augmenting the classroom experience through assistive listening technologies

New this year is “IC Immersive Court” – where attendees can experience first-hand the wonders of virtual reality and a student job and internship expo that will allow students to interact with industry leaders and explore career opportunities.

This event is free and open to the campus community and public.  Additional details are available on the Ed Tech Day website:

Please watch Intercom for additional announcements about ways in which you can be a part of the day, and for the details on many of the seminars and other featured events.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Information Technology at or (607)274-1514.
