A fast-paced, discussion-centered screening of highly provocative selections from the film, interspersed with Q & As facilitated by Professors Jonathan Ablard (History) and Carlos Figueroa (Politics)

Monday, Sept. 16, 7:00 PM, Emerson A & B.

What Is Democracy? is a reflection on democracy that pans millennia and continents, from ancient Athens' groundbreaking experiment in self-government to capitalism's roots in medieval Italy, and from modern-day Greece to the United States.
