Women’s Mentoring Network Overview

The Women’s Mentoring Network (WMN) was established in the fall of 2018 with the purpose of enabling women to connect in meaningful ways to support their goals. The WMN grew out of an initial President’s Seed Grant to support mid-career faculty women in spring 2018. Through the work of the grant, the women involved recognized a larger need across campus for all women and the vision for the WMN began to take shape.

The WMN is open to faculty and staff, and has a 3-prong framework including group events, mentoring circles, and individual mentoring. The network currently has over 200 members representing a wide range of faculty and staff across the college.

The WMN has been supported by the Center for Faculty Excellence, and more recently also through the Nancy Pringle Women’s Mentoring Network Fund. There is tremendous opportunity and we are seeking leaders to contribute to the current operations and vision for the future of the WMN.

More information on the WMN is available here.
