The event will be a conversation between Esosa Osagiede @melanin_poppinrdn, Wendy Lopez and Jessica Jones @foodheaven, and Amanda David @rootworkherbals. Our panelists will discuss food insecurity for people of color, overcoming diet culture, nutrition, and how to heal one’s relationship with food and the body. Participants will be entered into our giveaway including books and gift cards!

We'll be asking our panelists questions like:

  • How can I heal my relationship with my body?
  • What are some ways that people of color can feel more comfortable about discussing food insecurities and dealing with food deserts?
  • How does healing one’s relationship with food have the potential to deepen and transform our relationships with community?

Requests for accommodations should be emailed to cjeronimo@ithaca.edu.
