As a follow-up to the previous Intercom announcement on February 10, 2017, I am pleased to share that Ithaca College is beginning work on a revised staff compensation program (non-faculty positions). The development of this program is one of the College’s top priorities. Our ability to recruit and retain professional talent requires a competitive and equitable compensation program that reflects our culture and work environment.  This program will also meet the mission and goals of the College and should be externally competitive, internally equitable, regularly updated, easily understood, and financially responsible.

The Office of Human Resources invites you to attend the IC My Future Retirement Planning Event on April 19. The event will be held 10am to 2:15pm in the Emerson Suites. There will be 3 sets of concurrent education seminars available for you to choose from depending on what interests you and where you are at in the retirement planning process. Habitat’s Women Build program invites all females to learn and practice construction skills in a welcoming, friendly, positive environment.  Training sessions are hands-on and last approximately one hour, enough time to test the tools and ask lots of questions without taking up your entire evening.  Girls ages 14 and up are also welcome to join in!  Habitat for Humanity hopes participants will put their skills to good use by volunteering on a Habitat job site, making a difference by helping them construct decent, affordable homes right here in our community.
