The club Ithaca College Unites For HER participates in fundraising efforts to provide a grant to any student, faculty, staff or immediate family member of theirs affected by breast cancer. This grant is to help pay for integrative, complementary therapies to help those who are going through or have gone through breast cancer treatment. These therapies include acupuncture, yoga classes, massage therapy, and nutrition counseling among others. ICAMA has invited successful IC alumni from the marketing field to speak to students this upcoming Friday, April 7th, from 4-5:30 p.m., in Business 111, followed by a networking reception at 5:30 p.m. in the second floor atrium.

 It should come to no surprise to many who are familiar with the schedule that Challah for Hunger will be selling challah in Campus Center Fridays from 10 am until they run out. Flavors include Original, Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Sugar, Rosemary Salt, and some surprise ones! They come in all shapes and sizes, but the important part is this: $1 for a mini, $3 for a regular, and $5 for a large braid (perfect for french toast).

 Join Challah for Hunger in the Terraces Bakery (past the mailboxes in Terraces Dining Hall, through the double doors, first door on left down the hallway) at 6PM on Thursdays. We will teach you how to braid challah and will discuss local and international hunger issues. Expect to hear about the Campus Hunger Project, The Foodbank of the Southern Tier, MAZON, and come prepared to share what your favorite challah flavor is. 

This week we will have a special bake! We have a special guest and you have an opportunity to earn SLI credit if you've signed up on Orgsync. See you tomorrow!

The Ithacan is conducting research on students' perceptions of financial affordability in college and spending habits. We need student participants for focus group discussions in the following four categories:

Students who are attending IC on a merit-based full scholarship

Students who are attending IC on a need-based full financial aid

Students who receive partial financial aid

Students who pay full price or almost full price
